Gated 15 Acre Coeur d’Alene Lakefront Estate

15 Acre Lakefront Estate on Lake Coeur d'Alene

Reminiscent of an English Country Manor, mortared in Rocky Mountain Granite, this singular Lake Coeur d’Alene gated estate has few rivals. While premium waterfront property typically claims no more than a mere acre or two, this massive gated estate is nestled on a full 15 Acres, on 510 feet of deep water lakefront.

Incomparable cerulean lake views from large Palladian picture windows adorn most spaces of the 7330 sq ft 6 Bedroom, 5.5 Bath Main House. Generous expanses of Eastern Butternut hardwood flooring, tongue-in-groove vaulted ceilings & hand-hewn beaming grace the interior of this Cross-gabled Tudor Revival.

Interior hallways and a foyer are founded in Idaho Diamond Plate Rock. Grand Stone Fireplace takes a well-deserved seat of honor in the formal living room. Sun-drenched Palladian picture windows frame a breathless blue Lake View from the exquisite Formal Dining room, featuring a built-in sideboard. That St Charles cabinetry is augmented in the Gourmet Kitchen, & faces a full suite of appliances, including built-in refrigerator. The chef who masters this domain is treated to another Lake Vista, as well as a large granite island breakfast bar with prep sink & gas Cooktop.

Fairy-tale Master Suite has a Gas Fireplace framed in a charcoal surround with White Mantle & hearth. The restful watery dreamscape is again a dominant focus to this heavenly retreat.

Trophy room is perfect for any prize: from big game or your Biggest Games. Equipped with a “Murphy” bed and its own bathroom, this could also serve as a 6th bedroom or guest room.

Daylight lower level boasts a Home Gym, Wine Room & Theater Room with two rows of theater-style seating. Also included in lower level are 2 full bedrooms with bath, sitting room and secret safe room.

Main Level Family Room features a wood-burning fireplace in a rocked wall with media niche, flanked by two walls of Lake Views, one of which opens onto an Outdoor Patio.

The grounds are beautifully landscaped with paved walkways and stairways, granite rockwork walls, lush shrubbery, colorful flora & Champion-Quality Tennis Court.

The Luxury 1500 sq ft guest house could serve as two separate guest quarters. Main Level has a Rocked Corner Fireplace in the Great Room, Master Suite & Full Granite Kitchen. Upper Level features a Bedroom Suite with Granite Kitchenette. Guest House also features un-impeded Lake viewing.

Scenic patios boast views of Lake Coeur d’Alene and pine-, fir- and tamarack-studded mountains.

By day, bask in sunny North Idaho perfection from the Sandy Beach at the waterfront. Swim fish or launch almost any type of watercraft from the 1110 sq ft, 3-slip Boat Dock with Lift. Gather around the Outdoor Fireplace at day’s end for an evening of star-gazing.

An adorable single-room ‘Duck House’ on the waterfront might be suitable as artist’s studio or a play cabin.

Located five miles from The Golf Club at Black Rock, a world-class members-only community.

What is the True Cost of the Interest Rate Increase?

Dear Friends,

It’s probably no surprise that rising interest rates have a significant impact on your pocket book.

But how much of an impact?  The True Cost may shock you!

Consider this:

The average stay in a home is 5 to 7 years

according to the National Association of Realtors®.

Knowing you like to stay informed, we have provided three real-world home buying scenarios in the graphics below.  From these hypothetical comparisons, we hope you can get a better idea of the true cost of the interest rate hikes that are expected in the near future.

Assuming that you remain in your new home for 7 years, it is very clear the HUGE impact of rising interest rates.

WAITING TO BUY could cost you THOUSANDS of dollars!

(Visit our website to view larger PDF graphics of these three scenarios.)

Home “A” Costs $150,000

At the current interest rate of 4.875%, the monthly payment will be $797.

If you wait until the interest rate rises to 6%,
your monthly payment will increase by $85,
for a total annual increase of $1020!

If you stay in that home for 7 years,
you will be spending $7140 MORE!

What could you do with an extra $7140?

Waiting to purchase this $250,000 home could cost you

$140 per month
$1680 per year

If you stay in that home for 7 years,
you will be spending $11,760 MORE!

What could you do with an extra $11,760?

What could you do with an extra

$21,840?

Thinking of buying?  Now is a great time, if you want to save $$ in your monthly budget, as well as over the life of your potential mortgage.

Are you waiting for a lower purchase price?

The “savings” of a few thousand dollars off the purchase price will actually COST you THOUSANDS when the interest rates rise.

Mountain Top Sun and Ski Resort – Great Business Venue

When we tire of well-worn ways, we seek for new. This restless craving in the souls of men spurs them to climb, and to seek the mountain view.
Ella Wheeler Wilcox

Exchange the predictable, tired & well-worn paths of urban living for the invigorating purity of the Mountain Wild.

This former ski resort was remodeled in 2006 into a majestic 12,000 square foot Mountain Lodge.  This 95 Acre property is nestled in a remote region of North Idaho, adjacent to the St. Joe National Forest, and yet remains easily accessible from a paved highway.

Nowadays, the ski lift will carry you to quiet cross-country and downhill trails, trodden only by the local wildlife.

The pine forests whisper peace, and dazzling snow sculptures articulate every detail of this azure mountainscape.

Living is more gentle here.  Inhabit the majestic stillness from the covered lower level porch or upper decks of the lodge, or from the rocked footpaths of the immediate landscaped grounds.

Perfect for private respite, or family gatherings, or business functions, this property can accommodate many, with 13 bedrooms and 10 baths in the Main Lodge alone.

More romantic and intimate, Suite of Rooms atop the Lookout Tower overlooks a gorgeous panorama.  Upper Cabin in the Woods, additional lodge, and a large Shop are just a few of the other accommodations, making this property perfect as a Private Vacation Resort or a spectacular Business Venue.

John Muir wrote, “The Mountains are calling and I must go.”

Come to the Mountains.
